Kidepo Valley National Park, 4 days 3 nights
Kidepo Valley National Park is located on Uganda 's border with Sudan and Kenya in the extreme corner in the Northeast of the country. The park comprises rolling savannah grasslands and rugged spectacular mountain landscape. The park is accessible by road or by Air from Entebbe . Kidepo is considered one of the wildest, original African parks in Africa , offering a great experience of nature and game viewing.
Day 1- You will be transferred to the airstrip to board a chartered flight to Kidepo. Arrival in the park and after lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson 's Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp according to your choice between classic, midrange and budget accommodation.
Day 2 - After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamjong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Another day to enjoy wildlife and African landscape and a guided nature walk. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - After breakfast, board your chartered flight back to Kampala
